Coyote Springs Course Guide The Best Las Vegas, Mesquite and Henderson Golf Course

Coming Out
“My baby needs a new pair of shoes.” In order to get you off on the right track and “keep your chips on the table” for another roll, this classic opening hole features a truly receptive landing area that should be easy to find. Although Jack protected this large green with several signature bunkers, hole #1 should yield plenty of pars.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 374

Deuces Wild
This lengthy uphill Par 5 will be reached by few who dare. Several strategically placed bunkers in the second landing area will force players to carefully think through their approach to this Augusta-like green complex.
Par 5: Blue tee yardage 518

The Flop
The first of four challenging Par 3’s, players are forced to hit a solid iron shot to carry the water. Once you have survived the tee shot, two putts should be somewhat routine on the courses’ most subtle green. After this hole you should know when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em.
Par 3: Blue tee yardage 185

4th Street
Truly a signature view, this relatively short Par 4 was designed with plenty of teeth. A well-placed tee shot will lead to a mid- to short-iron approach. Players who bail out to the left off of the tee will not be so fortunate.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 420

Nickel
“Don’t be a Cowboy.” In true Nicklaus flare this hole is all about determining your strategy before you put your tee in the ground. Don’t get the “Bum Steer” from your opponent and plan your attack carefully by placing your tee shot on the right line to give yourself the best angle.
Par 5: Blue tee yardage 539

Six Easy
One of the best bets on “The Strip” may not be so easy on this hole. Looks can be deceiving and flat lies will be hard to come by in this extremely contoured fairway. The putting surface is equally challenging, so par is a great score on this mid-length Par 4.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 368

Seven Out
Bombs away. No need to hold back on this long Par 4. This extremely generous landing area should allow most tee shots to find a fairway lie. Be mindful of the approach because of the looming deep bunkers. The safest shot in to the green is to hit the green.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 418

Pocket Rockets
Appropriately named aces, this fairway will funnel most balls that carry the bunker on the left directly toward any pin location on the front of the green. So fly the bunker and watch for it to disappear.
Par 3: Blue tee yardage 219

Splash The Pot
As in any gamble a choice needs to be made. You will need to choose between a conservative tee shot leaving you a mid-iron to the green, or the more aggressive approach by hammering it at the second bunker on the right and find your ball at the bottom of the slope.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 410

Double Down
After you have doubled your bet, establish your presence on the back side with a firm tee shot to the right hand side of the fairway on this uphill Par #4. From there, a solid mid or short iron should yield a birdie opportunity on the gentle green.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 383

YO!
One of the more beautiful settings at Coyote Springs, this mid-length Par 5 will be reachable for the longer hitter. For the rest of the field, carefully navigate the “Bear Tracks” and you will be rewarded with a good look at birdie, even on this small green.
Par 5: Blue tee yardage 542

Box Cars
One of the more challenging holes on the course, this well protected green will not yield many birdie opportunities. A solid mid-iron to the heart of the green and two putts should be considered a success.
Par 3: Blue tee yardage 164

Lucky 13
Think through your strategy off the tee as the large fairway bunker looms in the distance. For those who play it smart and lay-up, you will be left with a short- to mid-iron to this large green. While your partner is playing their shot, take a moment to absorb the beauty of the Arrow Canyon Range in the distance.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 401

Shooter
Hole 14 offers a unique risk-reward opportunity off the tee that will challenge the strategic approach of every player mindful of the pin location on this extremely undulating green. Par will win this hole more often than not.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 413

On Tilt
By definition, “On Tilt” is the first sign of irrational behavior, and this is a hole where one can find themselves’ trying to make up a few lost shots. The conservative play is a lay-up off the tee, but those of you “On Tilt” may find yourselves’ pushing all of your chips in to the middle. You will soon find out if you are going home, or if you will be the new chip leader.
Par 4: Blue tee yardage 345

Stickman
The significant movement of the 16th fairway is a unique element designed to reflect the dramatic contours of our surrounding desert. This will create a challenge for those going for it in two. Otherwise, there is ample room up the right side to attack this green from the ideal angle.
Par 5: Blue tee yardage 578

Press It Up
After you have pressed your bet, hit a crisp iron to the heart of the green and put the pressure on your opponent to match. There is a large undulation bisecting this large green, but from the middle of the green, two putts should be manageable to any hole location.
Par 3: Blue tee yardage 155

All In
Another great opportunity to hit first and then watch your opponent fold. The carry to the landing area is less intimidating than it looks. Once you have accomplished that, a short- to mid-iron is all that’s left between you and your opponent’s wallet.
